Hello!

I am available for full time, part time and contract work!
Whether you need a creative director to strategize and lead a team to exceed your clients' goals, want content creation to amp up your visibility, or simply need help with a variety of branding, design or presentation projects for a few months, I can help.

At Work...

I thrive in collaborative creative environments where strong communication and shared momentum turn good ideas into exceptional ones. I enjoy working across teams to craft ambitious, big-picture concepts while ensuring the smallest details are thoughtfully executed, because both are essential to meaningful results! I also enjoy being my own team, working alongside upper management and wearing many hats.

As a cross-organizational collaborator, I focus on bringing out the best in people, encouraging thinking forward and leveraging the right tools to support successful, high-quality work. I value being a reliable and engaged member of a team. Someone who contributes strategically, supports others, and helps create an environment where both the work and the people producing it can excel.

While I am not a marketer nor have a masters in business, I am a well-rounded professional that has the capacity to strategize in both areas. I have written many marketing plans as well as consulted in business strategy for larger startups and individuals who are starting their companies.

Tools

At work I use a variety of different applications and tools to craft myriad stories. Mainly I live within Adobe Creative Suite, of which I am an expert: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premier, Firefly and Acrobat Pro. To tell a specific product or project story, I use PowerPoint as my go-to, but can also craft within Google Slides and Keynote.

I collaborate within Figma (preferred), Slack and Sketch with other creatives to brainstorm, track milestones and track individuals' contributions. For quick websites that clients need to update themselves, I use Canva, Wix, and WordPress. Unless I hire a developer to build a custom e-commerce site, I like to use Shopify, Squarespace, or Wix.

I always meet deadlines and if I am leading a team, I make certain everyone is on point. I do this with the help of a few different tools such as Microsoft 365, Monday, Miro or Google Workspace

Expertise

Traditional Graphic Design

With extensive experience in traditional graphic design, spanning print applications such as paper, fabric, plastics, ceramics and vinyl, I have worked closely with printers and vendors, managing production processes and attending press checks to ensure quality and accuracy. I have designed booklets, catalogs, paper systems, flyers, marketing materials, and so much more. My background also includes designing for newspapers and publications, from full magazine redesigns to editorial layouts and feature stories, with a focus on clarity, hierarchy, and visual impact.

Digital Design

With more than 20 years of experience in digital design, I have developed a strong command of the evolving digital landscape. I have built comprehensive social media strategies for team execution, while also managing day-to-day content creation, including advertising, platform-specific design, and collaboration with user-generated content creators. My expertise in videography and photography enables me to shape content that aligns precisely with a brand’s tone and visual identity, whether for individuals or organizations.

I also bring extensive experience in UI/UX, web, and app design, both in leading development efforts and in hands-on production. I have worked closely with developers as well as independently to deliver cohesive digital experiences. As a lifelong gamer, I also bring an understanding of narrative and character development, allowing me to design with sensitivity to story, audience, and immersive environments when relevant.

I utilize AI as my junior designer, occasionally helping me with design iterations based off of original sketches. I am well-versed in prompting for generative work, and am using AI for help with project organization and calendaring.

Experiential Design

I have extensive experience conceptualizing themes, designing, and managing the production of events and trade shows. This includes art directing, producing and leading a 700+ attendee annual fundraiser for the Austin Lyric Opera, and overseeing the design and execution of a 20-foot trade show structure for an inventory management software company. I also have designed many point-of-purchase pop-ups as well as signage for exterior and interior spaces.

Additionally, I have designed interior environments for multiple businesses, including a psychiatrist’s clinic and a large industrial engineering firm with over 200 employees. In each case, the spaces were developed as extensions of the brand systems I created, with all materials, layouts, and design elements intentionally selected to align with and reinforce the overall brand identity.
